• Orders may take up to three days to process after clearing payments.
  • Payments received on Wednesday (noon and after EST), Thursday, and Friday orders will ship on Monday of the upcoming week.
  • Payments received on Saturday and Sunday orders will be shipped on Tuesday of the upcoming week.
  • Customers are responsible for providing a safe and accurate shipping address to deliver. Please double-check check your address in your order confirmation.
  • We only ship if the billing and shipping addresses match.
  • We will not refund orders where FedEx has determined no safe location to leave the package.
  • Saltwater Pros Inc. is not responsible for unfortunate events such as misplaced, lost or stolen packages during transit. Under all circumstances, FedEx is responsible. We will do our best to assist all customers regarding missing packages.
  • Saltwater Pros Inc. has no control over package delays during the shipping process. You must contact FedEx customer service to help answer and track your order. We will do our best to assist all customers with obtaining transit information for your order.
  • All claims will be thoroughly reviewed case by case; claims may take up to three weeks to process. Once FedEx responds to your claim, we can take further proper actions to resolve this mishap. Until then, your patience is much appreciated as we work with the shipping carrier(s).
  • Filing a claim does not guarantee FedEx will partially or fully compensate/reimburse you for your lost/stolen package, but we will do our best to assist you through the process.


  • We strive to prevent errors. How we fix them depends on the error. For example, If we find a product description incorrect, we'll correct it.
  • In general, you should know that prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where discovered. Saltwater Pros reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, including after an order has been submitted, whether or not the order has been confirmed, and your credit card charged, as permitted by law. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Saltwater Pros will refund the amount of the charge. Individual bank policies will dictate when this amount is credited to your account.
  • While Saltwater Pros takes steps to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the product, customers are advised to refer to the original source of information, such as the manufacturer, for comprehensive product details.

  • Saltwater Pros Inc. WILL NOT refund orders given insufficient, inaccurate, or invalid addresses.

  • Shipping inside of Toronto is flat at $30.00 via FedEx Priority Overnight by 10:30 AM
  • Outside of Toronto is calculated at checkout by FedEx Priority Overnight shipping.
  • Get Free FedEx Priority Overnight shipping on orders over $299 inside Ontario and Quebec, and the rest of Canada is $399.

DOA Policy

  • We guarantee that all livestock will arrive alive and as described. In the event of Dead On Arrival (DOA), these steps must be followed:
    • We must be contacted within 2 hours of package delivery (FedEx posted time), along with clear photos of the dead coral/fish both in the shipping bag and out of the bag. After receiving the photos, we will advise what to do with the DOAs.
    • Only discard once instructed. 
    • Please notify us within 2 hours to ensure all guarantees are valid. 
    • No refunds will be given, only store credit for livestock.
  • If we confirm DOAs, we will issue a store credit minus shipping charges for the total purchase price. Often, we can replace the DOAs with the same or similar items.
  • We are not responsible for DOAs due to carrier delay.
  • There is no refund for any deaths of fish, inverts or corals that occur during or after your acclimation process.
  • No refunds of shipping charges will be issued.
  • If we cannot replace your DOA with a comparable item, we will credit your account for the total purchase price of the item as a credit on our website.
