This species is characterized by its striking appearance and vibrant colors, making it a popular choice for marine aquarium enthusiasts.

Appearance: Arabian Butterflyfish have a striking coloration with a primarily white or pale yellow body adorned with black vertical stripes, which gives them a visually appealing appearance. They have a relatively round body shape and a pair of long, trailing filaments on their dorsal fin.

Size: These butterflyfish can reach a size of up to 9 inches (approximately 23 centimeters) in length.

Habitat: Arabian Butterflyfish are typically found in coral-rich environments, including coral reefs, lagoons, and other tropical marine habitats. They prefer warm, clear waters.

Behavior: They are generally peaceful and are often seen swimming in pairs or small groups. These butterflyfish feed on a diet of coral polyps and small invertebrates found on coral reefs.

Diet: In the wild, their diet primarily consists of coral polyps and small invertebrates. In captivity, they may require a diet that includes a mix of high-quality marine flakes, frozen foods, and live foods to meet their nutritional needs.

Aquarium Keeping: Arabian Butterflyfish are occasionally kept in marine aquariums, especially in reef tanks, due to their striking appearance. However, they can be challenging to care for and are best suited for experienced marine aquarists. They require a well-maintained tank with live rock for grazing and hiding places, as well as stable water conditions.
