The Broomtail Wrasse, Cheilinus lunulatus, also known as the Red Sea Wrasse and Thicklip Wrasse, is a large wrasse species that features a green face and head, white midsection, and black flowing tail.

Scattered purple dots litter the Broomtail Wrasse's face.

As a large wrasse species it can be aggressive in community tanks so it is best kept in FOWLR tanks of at least 150 gallons with plenty of live rock and free swimming space.

They are sensitive to water changes so be conscientious to change your water properly. It will eat a varied carnivorous diet multiple times daily. Feedings may include soft or hard shell inverts, small fish, and some corals so be cautious with tank pairings.
