Description
This macro-algae successfully used in reef aquariums, installed in refuges and for the export of nutrients.
It grows very fast and exports both phosphates and nitrates as it grows. Phosphate and nitrate are not really exported from the aquarium until the chaeto is harvested and removed.
The Chaeto requires medium to high flow. It will grow adequately in medium light.
Size: ~ approximately 1 large handful. (baseball sized)
