The Chrysurus Angelfish, also known as the Goldtail Angelfish or the Sunburst Angelfish, is a species of marine angelfish. Its scientific name is Pomacanthus chrysurus. Here are some key features and information about this fish:

Appearance: The Chrysurus Angelfish has a striking and colorful appearance. It has a deep blue body with a vibrant yellow-orange head and tail. The body is decorated with vertical blue stripes and an intricate pattern of yellow or orange lines and dots.

Size: Adult Chrysurus Angelfish can grow up to 10 to 12 inches (25 to 30 centimeters) in length, making them one of the larger angelfish species.

Habitat: This species is found in the tropical waters of the Western Atlantic Ocean. It is commonly seen in the Caribbean Sea, particularly around coral reefs and rocky areas.

Behavior: Chrysurus Angelfish are generally peaceful but can become territorial as they mature. They are best kept in larger aquariums with plenty of swimming space and hiding spots. They are not recommended for reef tanks with delicate corals or invertebrates, as they may nip at them.

Diet: In the wild, Chrysurus Angelfish primarily feed on sponges, tunicates, and other small invertebrates. In captivity, they should be offered a varied diet consisting of high-quality angelfish preparations, supplemented with meaty foods like brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and chopped seafood.

Compatibility: Chrysurus Angelfish can be aggressive towards other angelfish, especially those of the same species or similar size. They are best kept as the sole angelfish in a tank, or in a large aquarium with plenty of space and hiding places.
