Naoko’s Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus naokoae)
Naoko’s Fairy Wrasse is a stunning and rare species prized by reef enthusiasts for its vibrant coloration and graceful swimming behavior. Originating from the Indian Ocean, this wrasse displays a brilliant combination of pink, red, and orange hues with iridescent blue highlights that shimmer under aquarium lighting. Males often exhibit more intense coloration, especially during displays or courtship.
Peaceful by nature, Naoko’s Fairy Wrasse is reef-safe and an excellent addition to community aquariums. It thrives in well-established reef tanks with plenty of rockwork for shelter and open space for swimming. Like most fairy wrasses, it appreciates a covered tank to prevent jumping.
